Guest Artist at the Spruce Pine Potters Market

October 12-13, 2019

I'm excited to be included in this phenomenal sale in Spruce Pine, NC!  From the SPPM website:  "With thirty participating artists you will experience a rich variety of backgrounds and interests, each telling a unique story through their ceramic work. Work includes functional pottery, figurative sculpture, stoneware, earthenware and more. Come witness these artists bring the privacy of their studios to a group setting and invite the world in for a visit."

Mockernut Show 2019

Doug Dotson Pottery hosts this gathering of great work in the woods of Chatham County, NC

This year, I'll join Doug Dotson Pottery for the 2019 Mockernut Show, with special guest artists, Kate Parrent and Jule Wiggins.  Kate does wonderful, humorous, and incredibly detailed drawings on rocks and Julie will bring her colorful and delicate floral pattern drawings on porcelain to add to Doug's earthy, functional soda fired stoneware and my textured, patterened, and highly decorated earthenware.  Join us for this great sale in a beautiful setting September 21-22, 2019, 10- 4 pm both days. 

Sweet and Salty Pottery Sale 2019

Ridgeway Building, Penland School of Crafts, August 31-September 1, 2019

Please join me, Gay Smith, Teresa Pietsch, Amy Sanders, and our guest artists, Matt Shiemann and Bill Griffith, over Labor Day weekend for a grand display of various clay bodies, firing temperatures, kiln atmospheres, and stellar styles on the campus of Penland School of Crafts.  We will open the doors of Ridgeway Building from 10-6 on Saturday, August 31 and 10-5 on Sunday, September 1.  Also, around Mitchell County within easy driving distance, two other exciting pottery events!  Just down the road at Michael Kline Pottery, Cousins in Clay will include the work of Michael Kline, Bulldog Pottery, Kyle Carpenter Pottery, Dan Finnegan, and Becca Jane Studio.  And in Spruce Pine, NC at the Toe River Arts Gallery, 10 Friends in Their Element will include the ceramic work of Susan Feagin, Speckled Dog Pottery, Lisa Joerling, and Andy Palmer, as well as artists in other media.  Labor Day weekend hosts a pottery bonanza in the mountains of western NC!
